You can have the most beautiful website in the planet.
You can build the most expensive website in the world.
But it will not make any difference if you have no
traffic. Literally, no traffic means no people viewing
your website except yourself. In other words, no people
viewing means no business. So, your next task after your
website is up, is to drive as many traffic as you can.
To drive traffic to your website, there are two ways,
either you buy it or you get it at no cost. Buying traffic is the easiest way but it cost you money,
and yet the sale is not guaranteed. I am not going to
discuss about it as this report will gives you 5
techniques to drive traffic to your website at no cost.
Of course, they are not the only no cost techniques around,
as there are plenty of them. But I warn you, these
techniques will cost you a little bit of time. At least
it will not burn your pocket. Be consistent and patient,
that's the key to success. Now, let us explore them: Technique 1:
Submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and MSN, then to as many
search engines you can find in the net. But before that,
apply the basic SEO to your website first. You know the
stuff like putting keywords on title, the Meta tags, the
contents and the footer? Technique 2:
Write articles, preferably two, every week and submit it
to the articles directories. A simple 300-word article
is appropriate. Include your website link in the resource
box for sure. And don't forget, optimize it with your
website targeted keywords. Technique 3:
Find targeted blogs related to your niche topic, especially
those that have high Page Rank. Leave useful comments and
get your URL as back link. Just remember, never ever spam. Technique 4:
Scan through answers.yahoo.com for your related niche
questions. If you know or have your own point of view,
answer them and put your URL in every answer. Write it
short, to the point and never linger on other people
answers. Don't let them influence you. Technique 5:
Start a blog at blogger.com and enter your written
articles as entries. Link it back to your website and
ping it every time you update it. Pingomatic.com and
pingoat.com are good free ping tools. As said earlier, there are plenty no cost techniques to
